Cookie Policy
Last revised October 22, 2026
The short version
- Required cookies run the site; measurement and advertising cookies need your consent.
- Third parties such as Google and Meta may set cookies we do not control.
- Your browser can show, delete or block cookies at any time.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text record that a website asks your browser to store on your Device. Websites use them to work properly, to remember you and your settings, and to report usage back to the site owner. Continuing to use turnpointhub.com means you accept cookies as described here, unless you opt out as explained below.
The groups we use
Required
These keep the Hub functioning: they remember your cookie choice, protect forms from abuse and support sign-in where an Account exists. They cannot be turned off.
Measurement
Tools such as Google Analytics show us, in aggregate and without identifying individuals, which pages are read and how visitors move around the Hub.
Advertising
Cookies and pixels from advertising platforms, including Google Ads, Meta and affiliate networks, tell us whether a campaign brought visitors and allow those platforms to show relevant content. Most are set by the platforms themselves under their own privacy policies.
Set by others
The analytics, advertising, payment and tracking companies we cooperate with can store cookies of their own on your Device. Those are outside our control.
Our consent notice
On your first visit a small notice asks whether you allow measurement and advertising cookies or want essential cookies only. Your answer is saved on your Device so that we can respect it next time. Clearing the site's data in your browser removes the saved answer, and the notice will appear again.
Taking control in your browser
Browser settings let you:
- view the cookies currently stored;
- delete them singly or all together;
- refuse cookies from selected sites or from all sites;
- refuse third-party cookies while allowing first-party ones.
Blocking cookies can stop some parts of the Hub from working. For advertising preferences, Google's controls live at adssettings.google.com and Meta's at facebook.com/adpreferences.
Do Not Track signals
Browsers can send a Do Not Track request, but there is still no agreed standard for how websites should answer it, so we do not respond to that signal for now. Opt-out requests made through our California privacy page are honored wherever they apply.
